SMA-DSE – Powder

Especially for powder requirements, we rely on metering equipment from the Hethon company.

Possible applications are:

• The dosage of powder fillers (calcium carbonate, talc, etc.)
• The metering of fibrous fillers (glass or carbon fibers, etc.)
• the addition of additives (plasticizers, flame retardants, etc.)
• Colors (powder or microgranules)
• Flakes
• Premix (also with process oil)
• div. feed or food (FDA certification)
• Granules or powder in ATEX area

Flexible Wall Hopper

With Hethon’s unique Flexible Wall Hopper technology, dry raw materials remain in constant motion. This prevents ratholing and bridging of dry materials and guarantees optimal dosing. We rely on the proven feeder technology for reliable dosing and offer 5 variants, the Feeder 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 in different sizes.

Characteristics

The feeders SMA-DSER030 to SMA-DSER080 are available with 1 or 2 motors. The optional secondary drive ensures that the paddle and auger can be moved independently of each other.

In this way, the paddles keep the material moving while the screw rotates slowly.

Maintenance

The flexible hopper can be easily removed. An attachment hopper can also be quickly dismantled if required. This makes the unit particularly easy to clean
